Power Outage Steals the Fun.
Six Flags visitors on Saturday got extra-long rides when a power outage ripped through the park, leaving many legs dangling.
Six Flags Over Texas reopened Sunday, one day after the park shut down because of a power outage, abruptly stopping rides mid-swing for as long as 30 minutes.
The park lost power around 3:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon. The rides were shut down until main power was restored about two and a half hours later.
Six Flags did not give refunds to park visitors, but patrons who asked got complimentary tickets to return on another day.
